Managing Clustered Volumes

A standard installation of Novell Storage Manager for the eDirectory platform can manage target storage that exists on Cluster Volumes in an OES NetWare or OES Linux cluster.   In this scenario, the NSM Engine as well as the NSM Sentinels are running on dedicated servers.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install NSM 2.0 to a standalone server.
  2. Run NSMAdmin and navigate to Manage Engine -> Sentinel Servers -> Advanced.
  3. Assign one or more Sentinel Servers as proxies for each Virtual Server holding target storage in the cluster.
